User responsibility during transactions
Localista is a platform created to help people list and find items or services easily. We provide the online space where people can discover listings and contact each other.
Any transaction - buying, selling, trading, or providing a service - happens directly between users. Localista is not an intermediary, and payments for products or services offered in listings never go through Localista. That means you are responsible for checking details, asking questions, and deciding whether to proceed. If something goes wrong, like a scam, fraud, or a disagreement, Localista cannot refund payments, replace items, or take sides in a dispute.
We do our best to keep the platform safe by reviewing listings and taking reports seriously. If you notice suspicious behavior, please report it so we can act quickly and protect other users.
For tips on how to stay safe while buying and selling online, read our safety guide.
Content review and approval process
We review listings before they go live. This helps keep the platform clean, safe, and useful for everyone.
During review, we may check for things like illegal content, signs of fraud, misleading information, or listings that do not match our basic policies and standards. If something looks wrong or unclear, we may reject the listing or ask you to adjust it and submit again.
This process is meant to protect users and improve listing quality. It also helps serious sellers get more trust and better results.
Publishing your listing
When you publish a listing on Localista, you ask us to display the information you provide so other people can find it and contact you. This includes the listing details, images, and any contact methods you add (such as WhatsApp, phone, or email).
Published listings are public. That means anyone can view them, and they may be accessed and shown by search engines like Google and others. It also means that AI tools and services (for example ChatGPT, Gemini, and others) may display public listing content as part of their products.
To help you get results faster, you also give Localista permission to share your published listing on social media and other platforms to increase its visibility.
You stay in control. We only promote and show a listing while its status is published. You can pause or delete your listing at any time, and this is how you control whether it is active and visible on Localista.
Prohibition of data extraction and usage by third-party platforms
The data and content provided on Localista are exclusive to our platform and are not to be extracted, duplicated, or published elsewhere by any third-party platforms or services.
Data scraping or harvesting information from our site is prohibited for any purpose. This includes (but is not limited to) copying content, building datasets, training AI models, reselling data, or re-publishing it on another platform.
